Celery - 33 Weeks

The babies continue to move around like crazy, and I still feel him more than her most of the time. I'm sure they are feeling more cramped as they get bigger and there have been a few times I joked that I was surprised my water hadn't broken with how violent the little guy was kicking around in there. Luckily they seem to calm down when I am ready for bed which makes it a little easier to get to sleep.
Dave and the kids are in New Jersey and I have been taking advantage of the "free time", and slowly remembering what silence sounds like! It sounds like they are having a blast and seeing a lot of the family, which makes it easier having them be away knowing they are enjoying themselves. Hopefully I can get the house nice and organized before they get home next week and enjoy the next month before the babies make their debut!
I can't reach my feet anymore and with my home masseuse being on vacation I was in need of a foot rub.  I took advantage of this this kid free weekend to get a very relaxing pedicure and put my feet up before hanging some home decor items I was able to shop for without the distraction of little humans asking for toys!

Next appointment with Maitri is July 30th for blood pressure and heart rate check.

Weight: 177.5
Belly measuring 39 weeks pregnant

Feeling: Still pretty good, although I am not entirely sure where my organs have been pushed to with the babies taking up so much space in there. I'm pretty sure my lungs have been pushed up into the very top of my rib cage and my stomach my be sitting on top of my heart. Nothing has fallen out yet so I know all the organs are still in there but who knows in what order! They have just become padding for the babies at this point.

Babies: Your babies are about 17.2 inches long and weigh in at about 4.2 pounds.

They are rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look, and their skeletons are hardening. The bones in their skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap.  These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as the brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.
